Relief is an
NDIS Registered Provider

  • The National Disability Insurance Scheme is an Australian Government program that funds costs associated with disability. Legislation occurred in 2013 and the scheme was fully operational in 2020.

The Scheme is for Australians under 65 years old, who have a permanent and significant disability and is designed to help participants achieve their goals and live to their full potential. NDIS helps ensure people with disabilities and their families have the supports they need.

  • A person who is eligible for NDIS funding is referred to as a Participant.

Registered participants can access ‘reasonable and necessary supports’ to help them achieve their goals, and live a full and independent life.

Podiatry services are one of the many support services covered by NDIS and therefore, can be included in a participants plan.
